“The 2015 promises to be the finest Moueix has yet made from this vineyard that he purchased in 2008. A blend of 88% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc and 4% Petit Verdot, the color is an opaque purple and the wine has a gorgeous nose of incense, Asian spice, cedar wood, crème de cassis, a touch of blackberry and graphite. It has great fruit on the attack, a full-bodied mouthfeel, with moderately high tannin, but beautiful viscosity and purity. This is a beauty from relatively small yields and an extremely early harvest that took place over one week between September 8 and September 15. ” Wine Advocate #227

Medium to full-bodied, it's smooth, rich and supple, concentrated but finessed, finishing long and silky, adding touches of dark chocolate, mocha and licorice. This looks capable of aging for at least another 20 years, but it's far from being inaccessible now.

This amazing powerhouse from Ribera del Duero. Tinto Pesquera Reserva 2012 - Bodegas Alejandro Fernández. Decanting is advised 👌🍷 delicious cherry, vanilla, leather and cederbox with cigars. Milk chocolat, forrest floor, laurel. Great lenght and depth Amazing wine!

90 pts Given the quality of the Crianza I really was delighted to find this Reserva, needs way more time to fully flower however, still very enjoyable for me now. The Crianza is ready now, but this shows sleeping intensity and great future potential and longevity, wait a few years however.
Typical earthy red fruit with good use of oak, dusty vanilla. Weighty, full with a long finish, it will be a star in the future.
