Le Clos Sells 120 Year Old Bottle of Chateau Lafite 1895 in Dubai International Airport

This was recently demonstrated with the sale of one of the jewels in Le Clos’ portfolio – a very rare, Château Lafite 1895, which sold to an international wine collector for US $17,000. The bottle, treasured for its age and history, was produced only 40 years after the Bordeaux Wine Official Classification of 1855, awarding Château Lafite First Growth status. It is extremely rare to find a bottle of this age from Chateau Lafite, or any of the Bordeaux first growths.
