Le Clos rings in the New Year opening 11th store at Dubai International (DXB)
Le Clos, the award-winning fine wine and luxury spirits retailer is ushering in the new year with the opening of its latest outlet at Dubai International (DXB) and sharing the celebrations with customers by offering all visitors who spend over US$150 in January a complimentary bottle of champagne.
The new store located in Terminal 3, next to gate B8 at DXB, expands Le Clos’ footprint to 11 stores and further enhances Le Clos’s ability to reach the millions of visitors to DXB. With a growing range of internationally acclaimed wines and spirits from the world’s best producers, Le Clos is set to further enhance its reputation as a landmark destination in the airport retail landscape.
This caps off a phenomenal year for Le Clos following a succession of high profile launches and international partnerships. Last June saw the opening of the first The Macallan Boutique in partnership with Le Clos, and in October they were awarded the prestigious “Partnership Initiative of the Year” at the Drinks International Travel Retail Awards in recognition of their work with The Macallan.
The 11th Le Clos store’s striking design draws inspiration from the wine and spirits production process including stunning woodwork that takes influence from European and South American vineyards alongside customised 4m high, stacked-barrel-shaped LED screens that can be seen from the main concourse.
In-store, customers can explore a hand-picked selection of Le Clos’ most popular wines and spirits at fantastic value, including a range of rare and limited-edition bottles, the like of which is hard to find anywhere. This includes an extensive collection of the highly sought-after Bordeaux 2009 vintage and the extremely rare whisky bottlings from the iconic Samaroli. Silvano Samaroli was renowned for sourcing some of the greatest casks ever produced and bottling them under his own label. In addition, customers can also enjoy in-store tastings and complimentary bottle engraving, allowing them to purchase a truly memorable bottle from this new collection.
Ben Odgers, General Manager of Le Clos, said,

“January remains one of the busiest periods in the year for DXB airport and we want to make sure that all of our customers have the individual personalised experience that Le Clos is proud of across the stores,” Odgers continued.
Since opening its first store at DXB in 2008, Le Clos has established a reputation for bringing to market some of the world’s rarest and most sought after products with the objective of setting the benchmark in luxury wine and spirits retailing. Since then, it has expanded to 11 stores across DXB.
