Le Clos receives the largest global allocation of Patrón En Lalique Serie 1
Award winning retailer, Le Clos, has brought to market the largest global allocation of Patrón En Lalique Serie 1. The limited edition French Crystal decanter containing the oldest and rarest Patrón Tequila is the result of a unique collaboration between Luxury French Crystal makers, Lalique, and of the world’s most sophisticated spirits; Patrón Tequila.
With a retail price of approximately $7,000 and only 500 decanters available worldwide, Le Clos, has received fifteen of these unique pieces and three of the series have already been ordered by private collectors, ahead of arrival in store, leaving only twelve decanters remaining .
Iain Delaney, Chief Operating Officer for Maritime and Mercantile International (MMI), said: “The Patrón and Lalique collaboration has created a truly remarkable product that stimulates all the senses and as Le Clos, we are honoured to be entrusted with the largest stock allocation globally. We are delighted to be partnering with Patrón and it is wonderful that connoisseurs will be able to purchase these breathtaking decanters with one of the finest Tequila blends.”
Vice President of Corporate Communications for Patrón, Greg Cohen comments: “Le Clos’ expertise in bringing rare and unique products to market combined with being located in the world’s busiest airport makes them the perfect partner. They truly understand the value of Patrón en Lalique Serie 1 and being located at the crossroads to the world they have made it available to the international collector”.
The Patrón En Lalique Serie 1 is the first time that Lalique’s French artisans have worked with a tequila brand and the 75cl bottles are filled with one of the oldest and rarest tequilas in a celebration of the creativity, craftsmanship and artistry of the two brands.
This special series is a unique opportunity for spirit aficionados and Lalique collectors in the Middle East to purchase this limited edition bottle. Each of the 500 hand-polished bottles are numbered and are housed inside a handmade leather display case with gemstone detail.
The crystal decanter showcases Lalique’s signature technique of frosted crystal finishes and it highlights the unique amber colour of the tequila. The meticulous detail of the amber crystal stopper represents the heart of the agave – the piña.
The extra añejo tequila is aged for a minimum of four years in a combination of America oak and new and used French oak barrels to achieve just the right balance of agave and oak notes.
Award-winning Le Clos which is wholly owned by Maritime & Mercantile International (MMI), has an extensive portfolio of more than 1,000 fine wines and 400 luxury spirits from all four corners of the globe, catering to all tastes and budgets, starting from only USD $28.
