Le Clos Offers Laurent-perrier Limited Edition In Travel Retail For The First Time
Dubai, UAE: Le Clos continues to underline its position as one of the world’s leading fine wine and luxury spirit retailers, by making the limited edition Les Réserves Grand Siècle from Laurent-Perrier, available for the first time in Travel Retail.
The truly unique Prestige Cuvée is a blend of wines from three of Laurent-Perrier’s ‘vintages of the century’ 1995, 1993 and 1990. Champagne aficionados can now acquire a limited edition Magnum priced at AED 8,000 and a Jeroboam for AED 20,000 at Le Clos in Dubai International airport.
The limited edition release from Laurent-Perrier was originally created to mark the Bicentenary of the House and as a tribute to Bernard de Nonacourt who created the first cuvée Grand Siècle. It fuses the best years, the best grape varietals and the best crus, to give birth to a unique style combining finesse, power and balance.
Les Réserves Grand Siècle are handmade from start to finish with a limited edition packaging to depict the painstaking craftsmanship involved in every stage of the creation. A master upholsterer created a spliced cover for the long swan’s neck of the Les Réserves bottle, reminiscent of the hemp string used to hold the cork in place before the invention of the wire cap in 1844.
