Le Clos, looks to raise the bar again in Fine Wine and Luxury Spirits Retailing with the opening of its, Sixth Outlet at Dubai International new Terminal 1 Concourse D
As Dubai International airport continues to grow as a global hub, the award-winning fine wine and luxury spirits retailer Le Clos is once again raising the bar in duty free retailing with their latest outlet in the new Terminal 1 Concourse D.
Setting a new standard in airport retail through its continuing commitment to delivering world-class experiences to customers, the latest Le Clos offers 16 wines available to sample. 11 of these are available to ‘Try Before You Buy’ on an complimentary basis. In addition, Le Clos will offer a unique opportunity for travellers at the mew Concourse D to taste five iconic First Growths, available as a flight of 5 at US100 or by the glass for US30.
The entire range available at the new outlet has been selected specifically for the diverse passenger mix travelling through the terminal. This includes many favourites from US28/- to some of the world’s most highly sought vintages such as Château Lafite 1982 and New World rarity Screaming Eagle Blanc of which only 300 bottles are produced annually.
Le Clos’ extensive spirits portfolio also includes one of the world’s largest travel retail collections of The Macallan and the new store will feature the Golden Age of Travel which is exclusive to Le Clos in the region.
Le Clos’ has evolved its design to allow customers to browse the store more freely through its use of space and amending its merchandising units and shelving. There is an increased level of well lit, temperature controlled units creating eye catching displays of both regular and large format bottles,.
Supported by the store’s highly qualified team of professional advisors, you will always be able to find your ideal bottle. Le Clos’ staff are all WSET qualified, and combined speak more than 20 languages, catering to the international clientele of travellers. “Ensuring our people retain that enthusiasm and passion for the products they sell is vital to delivering a world class experience” says Group CEO Andrew Day “we always consider feedback from our customers as we evolve our in store offering some of which you will see in the new store; but a great store fit out alone is not enough; it’s our people who will create that personal experience that will hopefully bring customers back again and again”
Customers can enhance their experience at Le Clos with its exclusive services, including Complimentary bottle engraving, ideal for gifting and special occasions , Bespoke concierge services are also available, allowing customers to place their order online (leclos2018.wpengine.com) or over the phone prior to departure, and having their purchased items delivered to them upon arrival at Dubai International Airport.
The new Le Clos store is conveniently located next to Gate D13 in Dubai International Airport’s Terminal 1, Concourse D. Four additional Le Clos retail store locations can be found within Dubai International Airport, Terminal 3 Departures, at:
- Gate A1 in Concourse A
- Inside the Emirates First Class Lounge in Concourse A
- Adjacent to gate B8 in Concourse B
- Between the Emirates First and Business Class Lounges in Concourse B
Le Clos also has an additional store located at the Al Hamra Cellar in Ras Al Khaimah.
The new Le Clos store at Dubai International Airport opened on 23rd February and will be open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
