ELR & MMI secure six outlets in new Concourse D at Dubai International
09 June, 2014 (Dubai, United Arab Emirates): Emirates Leisure Retail (ELR) and Maritime Mercantile International (MMI) are building on the success of their 15 year, award-winning partnership with Dubai Airports with the announcement of six new outlets at Concourse D, due to open in the first quarter of 2015, further enhancing Dubai International as a world class airport and global hub.
ELR & MMI have a proven track record in delivering successful food and beverage (F&B) brands, contributing to Dubai Airports winning the FAB Awards 2013 ‘Airport F&B Offer of the Year’. Using their extensive expertise, ELR & MMI will once again raise the bar, enhancing the passenger experience with new innovative concepts designed specifically for the Concourse D environment.
ELR will offer an unrivalled range of food outlets, including a casual dining restaurant by world-renowned celebrity chef; Wolfgang Puck, family friendly UK restaurant; Giraffe, Southeast Asian restaurant; the noodle house, one of the largest and fastest growing coffee shops from the UK; Costa, as well as a new sports bar concept designed exclusively for Concourse D. MMI’s own award-winning fine wine and luxury spirits concept, Le Clos, will open its 6th outlet at Dubai International.

ELR & MMI’s flexibility will ensure that every type of international customer will be catered for, from those travelling solo, to even the largest groups of travellers. All ELR outlets will also offer customers the convenience of complimentary super high-speed customer Wi-Fi and feature flight information display screens in Giraffe, the noodle house, Wolfgang Puck and the new sports bar.
MMI’s fine wine and luxury spirits retailer, Le Clos will feature all the major wine producing regions in the world available to taste. From $28 bottles through to iconic wines from first growths like Château Lafite, the largest range of Petrus in the region, and New World rarities such as signed Screaming Eagle bottles and the original vintage of Dominus. Le Clos’ extensive spirits portfolio also includes one of the world’s largest travel retail collections of The Macallan. Le Clos provides customers with a superior level of service, from staff who speak more than 20 languages, to innovative experiences including personalised bottle engraving, a tasting area, and a concierge-style delivery service when they land in Dubai.
